I hope you think of everything you have to be grateful for and then ask yourselves, “What’s the best that can happen?”
This last year has been tough for a lot of people, and many times we ask ourselves, “What’s the worst that can happen?” But I like to flip that on its head. Why wonder what negative possibilities are out there? Why not embrace uncertainty with optimism? Why not wonder how good it can be?
I’ve had some dark periods in my life, as we all have, and there have been times when I didn’t look as closely for the bright light at the end of the tunnel. But I always knew, deep in my soul, that there was a light on the skyline ahead, no matter how far away it seemed.
Now, I bring that light closer and see it brighter, even when there’s darkness looming on the edges. There is always something to be grateful for and something to see goodness in. Life is never perfect, but that’s part of its beauty.
Enjoy the weeks and months ahead. Love the people around you and be the best person you can be. There is so much goodness now and waiting ahead.
